The training is done in two ways: through courses in the traditional method and through experience.
In Class
With the in-class training, students take courses in topics such as: project management, security, networking, marketing, team management, efficient communication. In addition, there are knowledge-sharing moments with professionals from the industry. Also, experience-sharing meetings and seminars are held once a month.
The Junior Consulting experience-sharing meetings
The program participants are met by professionals and top managers of the ICT companies in an informal environment to share the more ‘personal’ side of their professional experience.
Some of our past guests have included: Ernesto Pascale, Gabriele Gabrielli, Pietro Guindani, Gianni Di Vaio, David Rem Picci, Giuseppe Mayer, Michele Liberato, Fernando Napolitano, and so on.
Seminars
Company managers hold seminars on topics related to innovation in their professional sector. On such occasions, they share their experience that they acquired in their highly qualified fields.
Through real-life experience
According to the action learning methodology, and in a convenient context, the experience is transmitted working side-by-side and through reflection.
Working side-by-side
By working side-by-side with a team leader, the students can acquire knowledge, competences, and a work methodology; all of which are key components to professional leadership.
Through reflection
Every two months, the team leader holds a one-on-one meeting with each of the team members to help them define professional and human development objectives as well as the most efficient way to achieve them.
Individual Coaching
The project managers are responsible for the development of the members of their team. There is a scheduled evaluation meeting with each team member every two months.
The evaluation model has the following parameters:
• Efficient communication: listening, efficiency, and style.
• Effort: reliability, responsibility, and added value.
• Cooperation: flexibility, motivation, and synergy.
• Personal efficiency: time management, unique contribution, and problem solving.
During the meetings, the team members also evaluate their project manager. The evaluation is sent directly to the program manager who uses it in his coaching meetings with them.
