Junior Consulting is an international training program that is designed for outstanding master’s degree students that are graduating from the faculties of engineering, computer science, mathematics, or business.
This program attempts to maximize the value of the time dedicated to the writing of the graduate thesis, by enriching the academic aspects with a valuable work experience. Our goal is to help make the time spent as a junior consultant as productive as possible so that our graduates can go on to face the working world as protagonists, fully realizing their potential.
Through the action learning methodology that we use in the Junior Consulting program, the students undertake a path of personal development during which their capacities and competences are enhanced through the completion of a work project. The project involves a complete cycle: defining, planning, implementing, verifying, and validating. Projects are usually commissioned by one of the companies that are part of the Consortium ELIS.
During the six months of the Junior Consulting program, the students are divided into groups consisting of three persons according to their background and the requirements of each project. Each team develops its own project working towards deliverables agreed upon by the client company. The project follows a work plan that includes continued interactions with the client through intermediate checkpoints. The contents of the project are also shared with the students’ thesis advisor.
At the end of the program, the students use the materials developed during the course of the project to develop their thesis.
We are continuously looking for new talented people to participate in the Junior Consulting program.
To apply please send your resume and cover letter directly to juniorconsulting@elis.org!
